She has years of experience working with severely disturbed children and earned her M.A. studying psychodrama and bioenergetics. She has worked for the U.S. Army and Lutheran Social Services in IL as a certified drug and alcoholism counselor, before earning her Psy.D.

She currently sees clients in her psychotherapy practice in Naperville, IL. She has contributed articles to the award-winning Psychotherapy Networker magazine and a chapter to Clinical Pearls of Wisdom (Ed. M. Kerman. Margaret has produced a CD for breathing, muscle relaxation and imagery to use with anxious clients, and is currently writing an anxiety management workbook for clients. Her next book, The 10 Best Ever Depression Management Techniques is due in winter 2010.
